Description

Want to explore new adventures and new opportunities in the world of librarianship? Fancy shaking up business as usual? Wondering what tools and techniques will help you deliver innovative and enticing services for your users? What does library work look like when it’s done for, with, and by the communities we serve?

Staff from SLQ’s Asia Pacific Design Library and Regional Partnerships team will join forces with Moreton Bay staff for a smorgasbord of spectacular offerings, helping you reimagine the way you deliver services.

We’ll introduce the concept of “Design Thinking”, invite you to try out the latest new technologies in our crash-course Digital Innovation Speedway, and SLQ’s Creative in Residence Matt Finch will try to get us prepared for the world that’s coming. And all that before we even get on to the mysteries of “Triple S – Strategies, Standards, and Services”.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore design, innovation, and new adventures in library service this February.
